About Brackley Players

Brackley Players

Brackley Players formed in 1972, from the amalgamation of theThalian Players and Brackley Amateur Dramatic Society. We are a group of enthusiasts who meet to offer our local community the opportunity to participate in, or watch, good amateur theatre. Sadly, many of the original members have passed on, and others have moved away, but with a continual flow of new members we are still going strong, and the commitment to the original aim is still very apparent.

We normally stage three or four productions each year, along with more informal evenings for charity. These productions vary in style between farce, comedies, murder mysteries and pantomime, with One Acts being the current method for our charity performances.

A wide diversity of talent is required to stage any production, so if you do not feel that acting is your forte, you could consider joining the backstage, creative or technical teams. We often have more people behind the stage than on stage itself! Our members provide Front of House teams for performances as well.

If you are interested in joining, then please do get in touch. We are always pleased to meet new people and get to know them, and 'social' is our middle name..........

We look forward to hearing from you!
